Stompin’ is a music festival
situated in the picturesque surroundings of Christchurch Quay.
An eclectic mix of Jazz Fusion and Latin Jazz through to Blues and Big Band
… there’s something for young children and families through to nonagenarian grandparents to enjoy.
Heading the musical line-up is Jools Holland singer Louise Clare Marshall with the band Not Just Sax.
Dorset’s own Blues goddess Zoe Schwarz is singing with The Baddest Blues Band Ever, and completing the Dorset link are the hugely popular Lemon Grove.
Appearing at Stompin’ for the first time are Mundo Pequendo, a jazz fusion of Portuguese Brazilian World music and completing the line-up are the award-winning Taverners Big Band, guaranteeing to get the audience up and dancing.
Often described as one of the region’s best loved events Stompin’ on the Quomps is unique in not charging an entry fee, but instead relies on audience donations.
